THE HEALING GARDEN PROJECT

Writer's picture: thehealingardenprothehealingardenpro

Rosalba and myself set out to create something together as we were in a relationship and did not intend to have children together, we thought it would be fun to create a project together. I had an interest in Healing and Rosalba had trained as a Biologist and wanted to move to the countryside and be involved in growing food.

We played around with ideas and I discovered a garden in the US created by a woman called Machaelle Wright. She had developed a way to co-create with nature respecting nature as an expert in the natural world in which we live. The relationship with Nature requires communication. This communication can be achieved with the intuition, gut feelings or kinesiology. Her work inspired us to co-create a garden with Nature and so the adventure began.

During this time I have learnt a great deal about myself and have also increased my understanding about healing, however I have done very little gardening as yet. The reason for this is that we live in a small house in London and have not yet moved onto our property in Spain. We worked with Nature to find a suitable piece of land for the Healing Garden, which lead us to Spain and just as we bought the property, the UK left the EU, which has created some difficulties in being able to move to and live in Spain, which we are currently dealing with.

When we bought the land, the house was did not have liveable conditions, in so we had to go through all the planning processes to restore the house. We made mistakes due to our inexperience and not working as closely with Nature as we could have, however we are now at the stage where I am applying for residency and once that is sorted out I will move into the house and start living there and co-creating the Healing Garden.

What is our reason and Goal for working with Nature and what does it have to do with healing?

Our goal is to learn to co-create with Nature, a garden that will be energetically balanced and harmonious, produce foods and medicine, help us improve our health, well-being, evolve and realise our true selves. When we observe, we can see that Nature works towards creating the optimum environment for life to evolve and express itself. We can see that Nature dominant environments are characterised by the qualities of balance and harmony. We just need to look at the grace and beauty of the natural world to appreciate the intelligence at work. It is also very important to realise that our bodies are the result of evolution and natures intelligence. s.

If we want to improve and/or maintain our health who better to ask than Nature. In-fact we can look at our bodies as gardens. I have been doing my research from all things involved in gardening and healing., how to maximise the use of water so important in Spain. creating soil, composting using human manure and how to best use worms. Biochar is a very exiting method to improve fertility. There really is so much to learn!! So I will be sharing our learning journey in the Garden with all who wish to share in it. I hope to use you-tube to make short videos and also more in-depth writing.

There are physical, energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects to the Healing Garden that we will explore as all these aspects impact on our health and well being and our evolution. We are beginning to see what embracing The Healing Garden is. This is the definition of a Garden given in the Perelandra Garden Workbook

TheA Garden as Defined by Nature.

From nature’s perspective, a garden is any environment that is:

Initiated by humans

Given its purpose and direction by humans

Maintained with the help of humans

For Nature to consider something to be a garden, we must see humans actively involved in all three of these areas. It is the human who calls for the garden to exist. Once the call is made, Nature responds accordingly to support that defined call, because a garden exists through the use of form.

Humans tend to look at gardens as an expression of Nature. Nature looks at gardens as an expression of Humans. They are initiated, defined and maintained by humans. When humans dominate all aspects and elements of the life of the garden, we consider this environment human dominant. We consider an environment nature friendly when humans understand that Nature is a full partner in the design and operation of that environment, and act on this knowledge. We consider the environment to be actively moving toward a balance between involution and evolution.

This means that anyone in any situation can work with Nature to create an environment for whatever is their intention, this, I think is very exiting for the future of mankind. I will continue to explore this further in my next post.

Love and Peace to you all
