UNSEEN FORCES IN NATURE

We are surrounded by unseen forces There is no doubt about this. Gravity, electromagnetic waves, and so many more that scientists have managed to detect and use to create the modern world of TV, Radio, and the internet. So, we know that there is a lot more out there than our five senses can perceive; Science is dependent on constructing devices to detect what our 5 senses can not. These devices have limitations, so we can safely surmise that there are probably many unseen forces, unknown and unfamiliar to us.

What relevance do these unseen forces have in our lives and how can we engage in a meaningful way with them? In my previous blogs I have been writing about Nature and my certainty that that there are deeper levels beyond matter in Nature, that we can engage with in co-creative cooperation.

The question for most of us -with enormous difficulty of communicating with our fellow human beings let alone other beings seen or unseen- is: why is so difficult to establish this nature communication? This question is necessary if we want to open ourselves to the enormous possibilities of other levels of energies and their potential they offer to us to create and growth.

There are people who have a facility to communicate and engage with unseen forces. One of those people who I have followed over the years is David Spangler. I have recently read his 2nd book Engaging with the Sidhe. It is a deeply encouraging book that promises a brighter and more expanded future for us to look forward to. I have previously written about the unseen forces of Nature and our unseen inner self or Soul and how important it is to acknowledge Nature as the enormously intelligent being that it is, in order for us to fulfil our purpose as co creative human beings. So where do the Sidhe fit into the picture? If you are interested I really recommend reading some of David Spangler’s books a list of which can be found at www.lorian.org. David Spangler in communication with Mariel a female Sidhe who made contact with him. She explained to him that the Sidhe are human and are in a sense our distant cousins. They chose not to incarnate deeply into matter and for a long time maintained contact with us, who did choose to incarnate deeply into matter.

The problem for many of us has been that through incarnation we experience forgetting and separation from our source. As we look at our lives and the state of humanity around us we can clearly see and feel an enormous amount of suffering, trauma, conflict and strife due to this separation. The good news is that there is a strong move towards healing, reconnection and remembering. The Sidhe are very keen to connect and support us in the reconnection.

How to heal the wound of separation that lies deep within everyone? Essentially Love is the remedy. We need to learn to sit and accept the pain that lies within us and in doing so we process and let it go. We then find our hearts opening to Love and a greater sense of unity and connection. David Spangler asked Mariel how the Sidhe can help and support us. She explained that the Sidhe work with many energies of the planet and Nature. In David Spangler's book Conversations with the Sidhe Mariel says; “You have asked what help the Sidhe can give to humanity. One form of help is what we are doing here and what others of my kind are doing with others of your kind. This is to provide information about us and to trigger a memory in people of being part of a much larger world than their sense may reveal to them. We can encourage you to think of your connections to Gaia, to nature, and to each other. It’s important to remember your larger self and its connections”.

How exciting is that there is so much to discover and explore so many amazing beings to encounter and work with. Mariel goes on to say that; “We cannot solve humanity’s problems. They are long in the making and rest upon your shoulders. But we can make that burden lighter and we can help you help yourselves by finding your own powers of joy and peace, connectedness and wholeness. We can offer you the resonance of our own nature, sounding a note that can draw forth its answering response within you. Then, together, we bring the world into harmony”.

I feel the presence of the Sidhe here on the land of the Healing Garden, and I am more and more open to the support that they offer. When I remember to connect to them I feel an uplifting energy, a joy of being alive and part of the wonderful world I see all around me.

The most important energy the Sidhe work with is Joy. That really got me thinking; Joy, what is it and do I feel it much? After asking myself these questions, I realised I knew very little about joy other than it was some very positive feeling, but I knew next to nothing really, it was like just a concept in my mind. So I was really amazed by the definition of joy given by Mariel in response to David Spangler.

You confuse joy with happiness or pleasure, with things going as you want them to. It is a reaction. For us, it is an action. It is a gift. It is a flowering out of who we are. It is a recognition that if we wish life to go smoothly and if we wish to be as connected as possible, we must do something to allow this. What we do is joy.

Love defines and shapes the path forward, hope opens the gates to take that path, and joy strengthens and empowers your walking. None of these things are emotions alone, certainly not in the simple way you define emotions. They are powers. They govern how things proceed, how things act. They affect the probability of connection and the likelihood of graceful flow and exchange. They make life possible.

Do not underestimate joy, nor deny it in the face of evil. Joy is the fire of fiery hope; it is the power you need to confront the darkness coming to the surface in your world.

We are joy because we choose to be. We choose to generate it. This is a choice you can make too. It is a choice not of how you will see your world but of how you will see yourself and your own capabilities.”

So much to take in there. Its worth reading a few times. Joy, love, hope are not emotions but powers that we can summon from within ourselves to live our lives in concert with all life on this planet seen or unseen. I have noticed this last two weeks that when I manage to be conscious in the moment while working in the garden, I feel a connection with, life around me and I fill lifted and my energy is enhanced as I work. It is joy what makes the work flow more easily and what needs to be done happens in a flow. I make good choices and there is a general feeling of ease and enjoyment. Of course when I forget, often I revert to my old ways and the work becomes an effort. I feel tired. My body complains. I make mistakes and do not feel good. So according to Mariel we have a choice. Of course we do, we are Humans, we have free will. We do have a choice. We need to catch ourselves indulging in reactive responses and make the choice to empower ourselves with Love Hope and Joy. It is my experience that life happens so much better that way.

As I open my heart more by letting go of my held pain, trauma and false beliefs. I am more able to choose and access these inner powers of love, hope and joy. I can see, there are unseen forces within us and outside us, that can enhance our lives enormously. We just need to open our hearts and minds and choose.
